Why Cancer Counselling

Forward Space Frome are hosting a ‘Fashion and Fizz’ evening on Thursday 29th November in aid of local counselling charity We Hear You. Entry is free and guests can browse nearly new and designers women’s fashion and a prosecco bar. Items start from £5.

Organisers Marina Wild and Lucy Ponsillo came up with the idea after noticing the success of similar events in other parts of the UK:

‘We’re so excited to have some fabulous sellers. There will be some great quality second hand designer items, brands such as Mulberry, Armani, Boden and Jigsaw to name a few. We are thrilled that Sass and Boo will be joining us, offering discounted cashmere jumpers, scarves and lovely accessories. Pop! and Forage Somerset will also be at the event with a selection of great gifts, perfect for Christmas. We look forward to a fabulous evening of prosecco and shopping all for a great cause’

Fundraising and Communications Manager Gemma Wilkes says ‘We’re delighted that Forward Space have chosen to support We Hear You with this event. Community fundraising is hugely important to WHY and provided more than a quarter of our total income in 2017. It’s great to have a range of events to appeal to all the people that support us. As a team of mums of young children, we’re also personally excited by the opportunity to shop after bedtime and have a glass of prosecco while we’re doing it! Hope to see lots of people there, and thanks so much to Marina and Lucy for organising the night and to Forward Space for hosting.’
