We Hear You (WHY) is holding a Santa Dash on Sunday 10th December at the Old Showfield, sponsored by Redrow Homes South West and supported by Frome Running Club.

Gemma Wilkes, Fundraising and Communications at WHY, says, ‘A Santa Dash is a fun run with a difference. Everyone who pre-registers for the race will receive a Santa suit including a hat and beard to run in, which will increase the festive spirit if not the average speed! As it’s a short distance and the course is reasonably flat, there’s no need to be super-fit: this is a race the whole family can participate in. Everyone who takes part gets a Santa medal and for those of a competitive spirit, race times are available – who knows, you might achieve your ‘pb’ in polyester!. There’s no minimum sponsorship amount, but we’d love participants to try to raise £44 each, which is the cost of one counselling session at We Hear You. Registration for the Santa Dash is via this link, but entrants are recommended to read the full description of the event here before booking. Entry is £10 per adult or £5 per child (age 6-16 – all children must be accompanied). A family ticket for two adults and two children costs £25. Booking will close once places are filled, or on Wednesday 6th December at the latest.
