Goodwills, who have been assisting local people with Wills and related services for many years, has launched a new charity scheme to encourage people to learn more about the importance of Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Goodwills is a specialist legal services practice that offers a helpful and professional home visit service that assists people with Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and related legal services.
Michael Rhodes, Senior Consultant with Goodwills said:
“This year we want to spread the word about the importance of Lasting Powers of Attorney. To this end we have launched a free information pack, are promoting our free local helplines and will be offering free consultations to local people.”
“We also wanted to use the opportunity to help important local charity, We Hear You, that like us assists people across Somerset, Wiltshire, Bath and the neighbouring areas. So we will make a substantial donation to the charity for each person who goes on to use our service.”
Lucy McMahon of We Hear You (WHY) said:
“We Hear You provides free, specialist counselling and emotional support for children and adults affected or bereaved by cancer or a life-threatening condition. The support from Goodwills will help us to provide more support to more people in need.”
Michael Rhodes added:
“I am sure local people will be pleased to know they are helping such an important local charity whilst also gaining the peace of mind and protection that a Lasting Power of Attorney provides.”
Those who would like to know more about Lasting Powers of Attorney can contact Goodwills for a free information pack, to ask any questions and to find out how they can help a great local charity whilst still benefitting from Goodwills usual low prices and personal service.
