Why Cancer Counselling

Local counselling charity We Hear You (WHY) is once again calling on local children and young people to design a Christmas card, to be sold this Christmas to raise funds for WHY’s free professional counselling service.

The competition is aimed at children who live across Bath and North East Somerset, Somerset and Wiltshire. Entry categories are for children aged 10 years and under and 11-18 years old. One design will be chosen from each age group and the winning designs will feature on WHY’s Christmas cards. Two runners up will each receive a sweet treat.

Gemma Wilkes, Fundraiser at We Hear You, said, ‘We all love the Christmas card competition and we’re always blown away by the young talent in our communities. It might seem a bit early to be thinking about Christmas, but our printers don’t agree…so please send your designs to us by Monday 1st October to be in with a chance of seeing your artwork in print this Christmas. Please do make sure the name and contact details of the artist is written on the back so we can let you know if you’ve won.’

Entries should be A5 and two-dimensional to allow for printing. Designs should be submitted by email to fundraising@wehearyou.org.uk or delivered to the We Hear You offices at Frome Town Hall, Christchurch Street West, Frome, BA11 1EB and must be received by Monday 1st October. Winners
