Our online counselling service is available for those aged 16 and over who are affected by cancer or any other life threatening condition.
Our online service is a video platform similar to Skype or FaceTime which enables the client and the counsellor to see each other, just as in a standard counselling session. The sessions are facilitated by a professional counsellor who has had specific training in online counselling. As with all our services, the online counselling service is free and open to anyone affected or bereaved by a life threatening condition.
The aim of the service is to reach people who may find it difficult to travel to our counselling locations due to caring responsibilities, transport issues or work commitments. The service is also designed to reach people who have social anxiety issues or who don’t want to be seen attending counselling sessions.
Clients will initially be offered six sessions with a counsellor and these sessions are accessible from your home or another location of your choice which has a reliable broadband connection.
