Support for adults

We provide counselling, group sessions and other support for patients, families, friends and carers who have been affected or bereaved by cancer or any other life-threatening condition.

One-to-one counselling

Counselling offers a safe space to talk openly, free from judgment or the fear of upsetting others. Research shows it can help people navigate the challenges that a cancer diagnosis or life-threatening condition can bring. We offer in-person counselling for individuals 13 and over on a weekly basis in Frome, Bath, Peasedown St. John, Chippenham, Trowbridge and Street. Sessions are also available via video call or phone.

You're not alone—support is here.

  • “My counsellor helped me understand it wasn’t my fault that I had cancer, and that it was OK to feel how I felt, not to be so hard on myself, to give myself time to do nothing when I felt like it, instead of punishing myself with having to do stuff and worrying how other people think especially work.”
