Sponsors sought for fundraising ball

The We Hear You Oscars Ball takes place at The Walled Garden Orchardleigh, near Frome, on 8th October 2016.

Billed as a ‘red carpet night of Hollywood glamour’ We Hear You is now offering local businesses the opportunity to sponsor the event.  Sponsoring a table at the Ball will cost just £100 and means the sponsor will be acknowledged in publicity relating to the event and will have their logo displayed on table place cards.

It is hoped that sponsorship of tables at the Oscars Ball can raise £3,000 for We Hear You (formerly known as Positive Action on Cancer), which would fund 68 counselling sessions for local children and adults affected by cancer and other life threatening illnesses.

Gemma Wilkes, Fundraiser at We Hear You, commented, “Our ball last year was a huge success and we have even higher expectations that this year’s Oscars theme will make for a fabulous evening. It’s one of our biggest fundraising events of the year and we are hopeful that table sponsorship is something local businesses feel they can support.”
