Local charity We Hear You are holding an online half term raffle, to be drawn on Wednesday 26th May. The raffle prizes, donated by Asda Frome and Somerset Gelato in Trudoxhill are designed to alleviate half term boredom, with a mixture of outdoor and creative activities and a voucher for delicious locally made gelato for four.

Fundraising Officer Helen White says “Thanks so much to Jackie and the team at Asda Frome and to Somerset Gelato for donating prizes for our half term raffle. It feels fantastic to be filling up our fundraising diary again and we can’t wait to see our supporters at events and keep our volunteers busy again. Raffle tickets are £2 each and can be bought via www.peoplesfundraising.com/raffle/why-half-term-raffle. The draw takes place on Wednesday 26th May, just in time for half term and we’ll aim to deliver your prizes by Friday 28th for the kids to get stuck in.

The pandemic has been a tough time for children and young people, and for charities – we hope our raffle winners have a fun-filled half term with their prizes (or a delicious one, if you win the gelato!) and we truly appreciate every penny raised to help us support people affected by life-threatening conditions,”
