Melissa Hillier, Director of WHY, commented, “We are so pleased to be working with Redrow South West. The team at Redrow will be joining us in challenge events, baking cakes, as well as hosting other fundraising events, and have already supported our recent charity ball. Working with local companies is vitally important for our charity as it helps us to raise awareness of the service we provide with new audiences as well as generating much needed income."
We Hear You provides emotional support to anyone affected by cancer or other life threatening conditions and works across Wiltshire, Somerset and B&NES. The charity supports children, young people and adults, supporting patients as well as their family and friends to deal with the emotional effects of cancer. We Hear you understands that cancer and life threatening conditions can be overwhelming. They can leave you feeling numb, isolated and upset and can seem too big to cope with. The charity provides a safe space where people can say the unsayable and ask the unanswerable.
Each counselling session costs £44 and every penny received makes a huge difference. There are many ways people can get involved in our work from taking on a challenge (such as a marathon or bike ride) to baking cakes and volunteering.
