Cream teas and live music at the Archangel this July

Local counselling charity We Hear You (WHY) are holding their annual ‘Cream teas and live music’ event as part of Frome Festival on Saturday 7th July from 12pm to 4pm at the Archangel. As usual, this popular event features a line-up of local acts providing free musical entertainment while guests enjoy a delicious cream tea including bottomless tea/coffee for £5. All proceeds from this event will go directly towards WHY’s free counselling service for anyone affected or bereaved by cancer or a life threatening condition.

Gemma Wilkes, Fundraising and Communications Manager at WHY says ‘This is always a really successful event for WHY, it’s a fantastic opportunity for families to get together and enjoy an afternoon of good food and great music. We look forward to seeing you at the Archangel on 7th July between 12pm and 4pm – fingers crossed for more of the lovely weather we had last year.’

Music is being organised by local musician and WHY supporter Colin Ashley and acts booked so far are Maia Fry, Phil Cooper, Sue Harding, Terry Sheppard, Simon Allen and 'Two Raggedy Men' - Julian (Bugs) Hight and Carl Sutterby.
